Things are heating up both in good and bad ways in next week’s SHADOWHUNTERS episode, “How Are Thou Fallen.”

The showrunners mind giving us more air time with the relationship that is Malec, as we see in the promo for next week’s Shadowhunters episode, “How Are Thou Fallen.” Not only that, it looks like Simon and Maia are getting along as well as we see them on what looks like an official date.

“I’m Lewis. Simon. Lewis.”

As we laugh out loud at the expression on Jace’s face as that line is delivered, we also hope that’s not the last of the show’s humor that we see. It’s been quite dreary on the show, what with the murder of Jocelyn and Jace’s time in prison, there didn’t seem to be any time for some laughs.

Luke’s sister shows up at the Jade Wolf claiming innocence about the recent attack. But with Luke not trusting a word Cleo says, he finds himself at odds with Clary who sees an opportunity to get to Valentine. Yet how far will Clary go to prove she is right about Cleo?

Meanwhile, Simon gets dating advice from a surprising source as Isabelle takes a dangerous path.

From what the description says, there’s still going to be a whole lot of serious in the episode, too. And now we know even Sister Cleophas is part of The Circle! So, yes, give us those moments of hilarity, we’ll need more it, regardless of all the killing and demons and betrayals. And yes, that’s in addition to all the romance!

Speaking of levity and romance, Alberto Rosende, Emeraude Toubia, and David Castro did a special promotional video for the upcoming R-rated Fifty Shades Darker. Despite how you feel about the movie itself, this promo was outstanding!
