Fandom wins big at the Teen Choice Awards!
Teens made their voices heard last night at the annual Teen Choice Awards held on Fox, in which fans vote for their favorites in movies, television, and music. As expected, it was a major night for some of our favorite fandoms!
Marvel movies made a major showing in the film categories between Avengers: Infinity War, Thor: Ragnarok, and Black Panther. In the comedy and breakout categories, Nick Robinson and his latest movie Love, Simon (a YA novel adaptation) had major wins.
Riverdale exploded with wins in the TV portion of the show, but Shadowhunters also made a strong showing, being voted best sci-fi/fantasy show and earning a best sci-fi/fantasy actor award for Matthew Daddario despite being cancelled. Arrowverse shows The Flash and Supergirl also won several hearts.
