Alec makes a move, Jace is on the case, and Clary confesses in new SHADOWHUNTERS clips!

It looks like just about every Shadowhunters character is due to get a rude awakening in “Stronger Than Heaven,” the fifth episode of Season 3!

Three sneak peek previews have joined the original promo (featured at the top of the post), along with several photos of the characters looking a bit strung out and/or glum.

The first preview features quite the moment between Magnus and Alec. It starts with Magnus sifting through the precious contents of an old box (which belonged to a much beloved The Infernal Devices character in the books, though there’s no knowing if the show will follow that) before he’s interrupted by Alec, who has a proposition that seems to though Magnus for a loop.

Two more previews, encased in one handy video thanks to TVPromos, follow different character.

After Simon’s gig is unceremoniously disrupted in some way, Jace visits Simon’s new apartment for the first time and meets his roommate, Kyle. While Simon is psyched about his new place, Jace is clearly a bit more skeptical.

Meanwhile, Clary has finally decided to confess to someone– Luke, to be specific– about what happened at Lake Lyn and how Jace has been affected since.

Someone is out to get Simon and Jace is on the hunt to find out who it is, meanwhile Clary turns to Luke to find a way to help Jace. Alec worries about the future of his relationship after learning more about Magnus’ romantic past.
