The official Shadowhunters website gave fans their first look at two coveted props in a new sneak peek! The Mortal Cup and The Mortal Sword are the two more prevalent of the three Mortal Instruments. Why? Well, they travel better than the third– Lake Lyn in Idris!
Though all three are important, we see much more of the first two. So we’re getting a look at The Mortal Cup (or a replica, we should say!) and The Mortal Sword, both of which will come into play pretty early in the first season!
To add to the squee factor, the photos also include new looks at Katherine McNamara and Dominic Sherwood as Clary Fray and Jace Wayland!

Shadowhunters is set to air on ABC Family beginning in early 2016. The show is currently filming in Toronto.
