The Hunt Is On In SHADOWHUNTERS Sneak Peeks!
We’re less than a week away from the premiere of ABC Family/Freeform’s Shadowhunters based off the popular novel series by Cassandra Clare! To prepare fans for all the excitement featured in the first episode with a series of Shadowhunters sneak peeks!
First, Alec and Isabelle Lightwood has a never-before-seen conversation in The New York Institute. Just a like in the book series, the two siblings see things very differently when it comes to Jace’s newfound interest in Clary.
Additionally, we’re see two smaller Shadowhunters sneak peeks taken from the one long clip shown at New York Comic-Con focusing in on Jace, Alec, and Izzy following a demon into Pandemonium and Magnus strutting his power within the club. While the footage isn’t necessarily new, you’ll notice the special effects have been polished up since we first saw the footage!
Shadowhunters TV also released a B-roll reel from the premiere episode, ‘The Mortal Cup’, introduced by the cast! If you’ve ever wondered about the mechanics of film and television, this is really entertaining because it shows all the tricks– setting up the shot, dancing without music, fight practice, and what everything looks like before the special effects roll in, among other things!

Shadowhunters will premiere on January 12, 2016 on Freeform, the new name for ABC Family.
