SHADOWHUNTERS receives major recognition for its positive LGBTQ representation at the GLAAD Awards!
It’s official: Malec is an award-winning TV couple!
Shadowhunters‘ Harry Shum Jr. and Matthew Daddario headed to the 2017 GLAAD Awards last night, which recognize excellence in representation of the LGBTQ+ community in entertainment. The show was nominated in the Outstanding Drama Series category, up against fan favorites like Supergirl, Orphan Black, Grey’s Anatomy, and How To Get Away With Murder, among others. When all was said and done, Shadowhunters took home the big prize!
UPDATE: Here’s the acceptance speech video!
The show is not telecast and no videos of the actors’ acceptance speech have made it online quite yet, but Freeform shared a quick video recorded just after the big win.
