The Sherlock Christmas Special, “The Abominable Bride,” will be playing in U.S. theaters on January fifth and sixth. These showings will include special content (including a behind the scenes tour of 221b Baker Street and an interview with Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman about the making of the show.)
Tickets will become available on November 6 via FathomEvents.com. The Sherlock special will be playing in over 500 theaters across the country where thousands of fans will watch Sherlock Holmes solve mysteries in 1895.

Although many fans are disappointed that the Christmas Special will not actually be on Christmas but on January first, seeing the special in a theater combined with exclusive content is enough to make most of us Sherlockians happy despite the date change.
