The first book in THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS series will be revamped for a milestone anniversary!

Can you believe it’s been 10 years since Cassandra Clare‘s City of Bones, the first book in The Mortal Instruments series, was published? The novel was published a decade ago as of last week, but fans will be able to celebrate even more later this year when Simon & Schuster releases the City of Bones 10th Anniversary Edition!

Riveted Lit, the publisher’s teen division, announced the big news today, complete with a breakdown of what to expect. The anniversary edition will include:

  • New cover art
  • Gilded page edges
  • 30+ black and white illustrations
  • 6 full page color character portraits
  • Four previously released bonus stories from Cassandra Clare
  • Unspecified new content from Cassandra Clare

The City of Bones 10th Anniversary Edition is due to hit shelves on November 7, 2017. If you’re eager to secure yourself a copy, the new edition is already available for pre-order via Amazon.

Are you a Shadowhunters fan who hasn’t read the books quite yet? City of Bones is currently a free read on Riveted Lit through April 10th.
