Even during this time when everything seems to have stopped, we still have good news from author Kiersten White regarding her Bram Stoker Award winning novel The Dark Descent of Elizabeth Frankenstein. According to White’s own tweet, Sony Pictures Television has optioned the novel.
Of course, being that it’s in the early stages, there’s still a lot of work to be done before a novel can actually turn into a movie, TV show, or any media format. We don’t know what form it will take, but any will do.
With the coronavirus pandemic, we know it may take a little while longer for anything to come out of this, but we’re hopeful. People still love a good monster story. For now, you can read the novel if you haven’t already.
