Stan Lee is getting a bit sentimental in the latest bit of promotion for the Marvel Universe!
The 94-year-old comic artist behind some of the world’s most famous characters narrated a new commercial for Marvel’s Netflix series including Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist (who will soon come together in The Defenders). In the promo, Lee is driven around New York City and interwoven into outdoor action sequences from all four shows as he talks about why superheroes play such an important role in modern culture.

The Defenders comes to Netflix on August 18, 2017. Before that, the cast and creators will hit San Diego Comic-Con for the Marvel TV panel on Friday, July 21, 2017.
