Stanley Tucci, aka Caeser Flickerman, shared his thoughts on Mockingjay being split into two films during a recent interview with IGN.
“I think it does make sense to split it into two movies. You don’t want to cram a lot of information into one. You’d either have one sort of very long movie or…We know those characters so well that we want to take the time to see their progression.”
I concur. While Mockingjay is a relatively short book, I believe it is far too rich of a story to get everything in with just one film and that two films are necessary to completely wrap up the trilogy on screen.
