This year’s STAR WARS CELEBRATION has been officially cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but is set to return in 2022.

The cancellation was announced on the official website, as well as the new dates for the event: August 18-21, 2022.

“At Star Wars Celebration, the health and safety of our fans, attendees, exhibitors, guests and staff is always our number one priority. Due to the global impact of the COVID-19 virus and in speaking with local and state authorities on the latest public health guidelines related to indoor conventions, we have made the decision to cancel Star Wars celebration for 2020.”

Fans who have purchased tickets to attend may transfer tickets to the 2022 date, receive a refund, or receive a merchandise credit. While very disappointing, the Celebration is only the newest event on the long list of pandemic related cancellations.
