DC’S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW finds its Stargirl in a fresh face!
The Justice Society of America is headed to DC’s Legends of Tomorrow and the group now has its star pupil– Stargirl, that is!
Sarah Grey, who has had several small movie roles in the past and will soon be featured in the Power Rangers reboot movie, will play Stargirl on The CW series.
The character, also known as Courtney Whitmore, is a gymnast and kickboxer who gains enhanced speed, strength, and agility, as well as the ability to strike down enemies with “shooting stars” via her Cosmic Staff.
As for the rest of the Justice Society, Patrick J. Adams has already been introduced as Hourman. Maisie Richardson-Sellers will play a different version of Vixen than we’ve seen, Nick Zano will play Citizen Steel, and Matthew MacCaull joins as Commander Steel. The team will also feature Dr. Mid-Nite and Obsidian, but the actors have yet to be cast.
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow returns to The CW for Season 5 on October 13, 2016.
