Even though Outlander won’t be hitting the stage at this year’s San Diego Comic Con, Starz has announced that both American Gods and Ash vs Evil Dead will be present at the convention.
American Gods, a TV show adapted from the wildly popular book by Neil Gaiman, premieres its first season in 2017, and, because of that, we’ll be seeing the cast in Room 6BCF at 3:15 PM on July 22. Not only will the author and executive producer, Neil Gaiman, be there, he will also be joined by showrunner Bryan Fuller and EP Michael Green. Additionally, some of the actors will be attending the panel, including Ian McShane (Mr. Wednesday), Ricky Whittle (Shadow Moon), Yetide Badaki (Bilquis), Pablo Shreiber (Mad Sweeney), and Bruce Langley (Technical Boy).
Additionally, Deadline reports that “footage of the series [might] be shown, though [there’s] no indication yet if it is a full-on trailer or a tease.”
Also, at 4:45 PM on Friday, some of the American Gods cast will be signing autographs at the Starz booth on the convention floor.
Starz will also be promoting the second season of another one of their hit television shows, Ash vs Evil Dead, set to premiere on September 23. The cast of Ash vs Evil Dead, including Bruce Campbell, Lucy Lawless, Dana DeLorenzo, Ted Raimi, Ray Santiago, Michelle Hurd, and Lee Majors will be present in Room 6A at 6:45 PM on July 23.
