SUPERGIRL will face off with a harsh enemy in Red Tornado!
The world has got its first glimpse at fearsome Supergirl villain Red Tornado!
Actor Iddo Goldberg portrays Dr. T. O. Morrow as well as his Artificial Intelligence android gone awry, Red Tornado. Nobody was quite sure how the character would translate to screen, but now we have the first image!
Right off the bat, the look reminds us a bit of The Vision from Avengers: Age of Ultron. Then again, nobody can say that the show wasn’t trying to match the comic depictions of Red Tornado while muting down the color palette a little more realistically.
Here’s the official character description:
“The most advanced android the world has ever seen. Designed by scientist T.O. Morrow for the U.S. Army as the ultimate superweapon, he soon becomes sentient, posing a grave danger to National City — including the people Supergirl cares about most.”
No word yet on when Red Tornado will make his first appearance, but Supergirl premieres October 26, 2015 on CBS!
