With the release date of Star Wars: Episode VIII announced as being May 26, 2017. 20th Century Fox didn’t waste time and requesting for Disney to move their date up or anything, and instead opted to just move Fantastic Four 2 back a week from June 2, 2017 to June 9, 2017. [source]
