Tyler Hoechlin’s Superman makes impressive introduction in this SUPERGIRL season 2 clip as he answers a call for help.
As much as we enjoyed Tyler Hoechlin‘s scruffy-looking and brooding Derek Hale in Teen Wolf, we can definitely get used to his version of clean-shaven and optimistic Clark Kent in the CW’s Supergirl. It was already exciting to see him dressed in the superhero outfit, but seeing him in action, both as Superman and also as super-nice-guy Kent in this Supergirl season 2 clip, we know the role definitely fits him.
“The two of them actually show up to the same crisis. It’s not a turf war, they just both heard about the same tragedy on the news and both flew into action.
“They haven’t really gotten a chance to spend time together, especially since she’s come out as Supergirl, and they both want that. Both of them have a bit of sadness about them — they both have that sense of feeling alone, they both have that sense of feeling different — and both of them remark that that loneliness, that alienation, that isolation goes away when they are together.”
With the change of “venue” to the more fitting network of The CW, we’re reinvigorated with a fresh excitement for Supergirl (and her cousin!)
Supergirl season 2 premieres Monday, October 8th at 8pm on The CW.
