New Details Revealed About SUPERNATURAL’s 300th Episode, Including Return of Major Character

SUPERNATURAL’s 300th episode is on the horizon, and while we don’t know too many details, some spoilers have been released.

Earlier this year, at SDCC, Supernatural‘s show runner Andrew Dabb hinted that he’d enjoy making the 300th episode about the town Sam and Dean live in. It seems like that may have worked out. EW reports that the title of the milestone episode will be “Lebanon,” as in Lebanon, Kansas, which is where the Men of Letters Bunker is located.

What is no longer speculation is if a certain huge character will be returning. It’s official: Jeffrey Dean Morgan will return as John Winchester! Now, will he be in a flashback, in Heaven/Hell, or in some other form? That’s yet to be determined. Morgan has not been on Supernatural since back in 2007. He last appeared in season 2’s season finale, “All Hell Breaks Loose: Part II,” when he climbed out of Hell when the door managed to get open. Fans are not the only ones pumped to see Morgan again. Dabb states, “We’re incredibly excited to have Jeffrey back for this milestone episode, and think fans will love what we have planned for his character… and a few other surprise guest stars.” “A few other surprise guest stars,” eh? Time to start guessing again!
