SUPERNATURAL Casts ‘Big Eyes’ Actress for Guest Role

‘Big Eyes’ actress Madeleine Arthur will be in a guest role on the CW’s Supernatural!

Arthur will play the teenage version of a woman named Tina, who finds herself trapped in an very dangerous situation with a now 14-year-old Dean Winchester (guest star Dylan Everett) in the Feb. 3 episode of the cult hit’s 10th season.

Titled “About a Boy,” the episode sees Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) investigating a case in which people are disappearing into thin air with only their clothes left behind. The Winchesters suspect fairies or angels, but the truth turns out to be much more shocking — Hansel (guest star Mark Acheson), from Hansel and Gretel lore, is kidnapping people and turning them into their younger selves to placate the evil witch (“Downton Abbey’s” Lesley Nicol). Unfortunately, Dean finds this information out the hard way after he becomes Hansel’s next victim and reverts to his 14-year-old self.

It sounds like one of their lighter fare episodes, only because I think it will probably be humorous to see 14-year-old Dean having to order his younger, but older brother Sam.

If Madeleine Arthur seems familiar to you in the TV circuit, you’re right.  Other than her big screen performance in the award-nominated ‘Big Eyes’, she played a supernaturally-gifted character in the CW’s now cancelled The Tomorrow People.

Dylan Everett reprises his role as Young Dean Winchester.  He was previously seen in season nine’s “Bad Boys” episode, in which Dean’s old boy’s home to exorcise a ghost.

You might also realize actor Mark Acheson, who plays Hansel, played another storybook character on the show, that of the Tooth Fairy from season five’s “I Believe the Children Are Our Future”.

And yes, Lesley Nicol can also be seen as the cook Mrs. Patmore on the popular British TV series on PBS, Downton Abbey.

Check out a clip from this week’s episode titled “There’s No Place Like Home”, in which Charlie (Felicia Day) returns from Oz, with not just a different hairstyle, but something maybe even more menacing.
