SUPERNATURAL Show Runner Gives Details About 300th Episode

SUPERNATURAL will hit a milestone of 300 episodes in its upcoming 14th season.

How many primetime scripted shows can say they have 300 episodes? During season 14,  Supernatural will be able to brag that they are one of few. Episode 13 of next season will be the big milestone. Supernatural hit 100 episodes back in season 5, when the show was just a few episodes away from its almost series finale. Sam, Dean, and Castiel were in the middle of a war between Heaven and Hell, trying to keep the apocalypse at bay. For Episode 200 back in season 10, Sam and Dean stumbled upon an all-girls school putting on a stage production of Supernatural. For Episode 300? It’s looking like there’s no place like home.

Showrunner Andrew Dabb chatted with TV Line about his plans for the big 3-0-0 at SDCC on Sunday:

“The idea kind of floating around right now is Sam and Dean, for years, have lived in the bunker, [which] is in a place called Lebanon, Kansas, which is a real town, a very small town,” Dabb shared. But for all the time the brothers have spent in the area, “we’ve never actually seen Lebanon, Kansas, on the show. We’ve never actually seen what these people in this town think of these two guys who drive this muscle car through. The dry cleaner [must think], ‘They have a lot of blood on their clothes. What’s going on there?'”

So it becomes: How do these people view Sam and Dean — with Sam and Dean’s story in there, too,” Dabb continued. “We think it could be a real love letter to the show, in what we hope is going to be a very heartwarming way — with murder. Heartwarming with murder.”

And for all the fans wondering if our favorite angel will make an appearance in the 300th episode, the answer is:

Supernatural Season 14 premieres on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at 8/7c on The CW.
