The Winchester boys are featured on Entertainment Weekly’s first SUPERNATURAL cover!

With 11 seasons down and another starting next month, Supernatural has hit a lot of milestones over the years. But there’s one honor that has eluded the show until today, when it was given with a little help from the fans!

Check the latest Entertainment Weekly cover, the first ever to feature the show! Sam and Dean Winchester (Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles) look a little smug about it in an aerial shot of the brothers on the hood of their trusty steed.

The cover was won by the fans in EW’s Fall TV Cover Battle, in which Supernatural beat out 63 other shows after 2.6 million votes.

In the video coverage of the cover shoot, Jared and Jensen are joined by Misha Collins (Castiel) and Mark Sheppard (Crowley) to talk about the amazing fandom, growing older with the show, and who Misha thinks had a major influence over the voting outcome!

If you’re not a subscriber, the issue will be on sale exclusively at Barnes & Noble as of September 9, 2016.

Supernatural returns to The CW for Season 12 on Thursday, October 13, 2016.
