For those of you who loved The Selection trilogy, you’ll be happy to know it’s no longer a trilogy! Kiera Cass has tricked us, and there’ll be two new book to add to The Selection. The Heir will be the fourth book in the series and is due to come out on May 5, 2015.
Here’s the synopsis (spoilers):
Twenty years ago, America Singer entered the Selection and won Prince Maxon’s heart. Now the time has come for Princess Eadlyn to hold a Selection of her own. Eadlyn doesn’t expect her Selection to be anything like her parents’ fairy-tale love story. But as the competition begins, she may discover that finding her own happily ever after isn’t as impossible as she always thought.
So, now we’ll be delving into the story of the daughter of the couple from The Selection trilogy! It’s just a formality, but this is really a duology off the trilogy. Tomayto, tomahto.
