Marvel Studios has already released a new, yet likely to change, synopsis for Avengers 4, because it certainly doesn’t sound as official as it should be. Also, Avengers: Infinity War was only just released in theaters short of a month ago.
It also makes sense since Infinity War was very tightly lipped when it came to the storyline. As much as some of the actors might have let slipped in regards to it, not much was truly spoiled about the movie.
What’s also interesting is that we’re getting our first taste of a synopsis for Avengers 4 before even getting the official title, because that’s how cautious the directors Joe and Anthony Russo are in hinting at anything about what will happen next. From what’s been reported in several sites, the title won’t be revealed just yet because it’s actually a spoiler to the fourth Avengers.
So, why the synopsis, considering that could also spoil what’s to come? Honestly, considering what it says, it seems it’s more for business purposes rather than teasing something for the fans. That’s just an added benefit to the Hollywood bureaucratic logistics of it all. What we mean is, you can’t leave that space blank.
Thus, this is what was put in for the Avengers 4 synopsis:
“A culmination of 22 interconnected films the fourth installment of the Avengers saga will draw audiences to witness the turning point of this epic journey. Our beloved heroes will truly understand how fragile this reality is and the sacrifices that must be made to uphold it.”
See. This probably isn’t what they want to put out there, but they had to put something out there, and this is what it is for now.
Avengers 4 is scheduled to hit theaters May 3, 2019.
