THE 5TH WAVE Cast at the Summer of Sony 2015

It’s still about seven months away until the release of the movie adaptation of Rick Yancey‘s The 5th Wave novel, but we’ll be getting more promos and a trailer soon enough this year to build the anticipation.  For now, we have these photos of The 5th Wave cast at the Summer of Sony photo call that took place at The Ritz-Carlton in Cancun, Mexico on June 12, 2015.

Chloë Grace Moretz (If I Stay), Nick Robinson (Jurassic World), Alex Roe (Sniper: Legacy), and Liev Schreiber (Ray Donovan) were there for the photo call, along with director J Blakeson.

Here’s the book synopsis:

After the 1st wave, only darkness remains. After the 2nd, only the lucky escape. And after the 3rd, only the unlucky survive. After the 4th wave, only one rule applies: trust no one.

Chloe will be playing main protagonist Cassie Sullivan.  Nick Robinson will play Ben Parish.  Alex Roe will be play Evan Walker, and Liev Schreiber will play Colonel Vosch.

The 5th Wave is set to be released in theaters on January 15, 2016.
