Disney’s Newsies is based on the 1992 musical film inspired by the Newsboys Strike of 1899 and was on Broadway from 2012-2014. The national touring cast of Newsies performed an awesome rendition of Walk the Moon’s “Shut Up And Dance.” I absolutely love the tap dancing in the number and Dan Deluca has an amazing singing voice.
Newsies will be playing at the Hollywood Pantages Theater through April 19, a performance I will be attending tomorrow night. After watching this video, I’m even more excited to catch them in person!
