Katniss Everdeen (5) vs. Karou(60)
Katniss Everdeen
Fandom: The Hunger Games
Katniss has strong and independent survivalist instincts due to her difficult past and is good at thinking outside the box. She is not socially adept and has a hard time making friends due to the emotional strain on her life which has made her hard and cold. She is more concerned about feeding her family than being social, making her awkward around people. Though Katniss can be rather blunt and cold she has a very vulnerable side which she only shows around her family, and she has a natural maternal instinct as showed when she comforted Prim and helped Rue. She is not very good at acting for the camera and comes across best when she is herself. She is usually very logical except for times when her emotions get in the way.
Katniss is very strong, stubborn and determined. Often, she will react first and ask questions later. She will do anything to survive. Even when she allied with Rue, she said she hoped that she didn’t have to be the one to kill her. Yet when it came to Peeta, she tried her best to figure a way for them both to survive.
Even though she can sometimes be a bit self-centered and self-reliant, she does have noble traits, protecting those she loves. For example, caring for Prim, looking out for Rue, and ending Cato’s life mercifully even though he caused her so much pain or when she shields Gale to keep him from being whipped, even when it means a lash for herself. Katniss has an instinct to protect those who are weak such as Rue, Wiress, and her prep team. – Hunger Games wikia
Karou
Fandom: Daughter of Smoke & Bone
Karou is initially introduced as a young girl with mostly normal teenage preoccupations like boys and clothes. She is shown to be cheerful and humorous, and also curious and somewhat rebellious.
After her world is turned upside-down by her discovery of her life as Madrigal and the war-torn world whose reconstruction she will be instrumental in, she matures into a brave albeit bitter young woman who feels betrayed by her lover, Akiva. She is shown to be struggling to regain an optimistic view of the world despite her crushing experiences, and also trying to untangle her complex feelings for Akiva.
Karou is shown to be creative. – Daughter of Smoke & Bone wikia

Harry Potter (6) vs. Prince Po Greening (59)
Harry Potter
Fandom: Harry Potter
Harry Potter is an extremely brave, loyal, and selfless person who possesses tremendous strength of character. He willingly went to what he truly believed to be his death because he believed that this was the only way to defeat the Dark Lord. Harry was also marked by what Lord Voldemort once deemed a “weakness for heroics” — he would go to great lengths and take great risks in order to help others, particularly his loved ones. Harry was also very strong-willed and unafraid to stand up for himself.
However, Harry was also accused of being arrogant, and could be hot-tempered and impulsive. This can sometimes make him rude to authority figures such as Professor Snape and Minister for Magic Rufus Scrimgeour, and irritable with his friends. In contrast, Dumbledore stated that many teachers reported him as modest and likable. Harry was prone to moodiness during his adolescence, though this is likely the result of the great emotional stress and trials he endured during this period. Harry possessed an instinctual, intuitive intelligence that allowed him to make intellectual leaps as opposed to the logical intelligence of Hermione.
Harry also seemed to have a bit of an obsessive personality, a trait he shared with his arch enemy Lord Voldemort. He could be somewhat nosy and was known for sleuthing around and getting involved in things that did not concern him.
Harry’s greatest strength was his ability to feel love, despite having a miserable childhood of neglect. Harry was extremely loyal to and protective of his loved ones, and that love was what allowed him to overcome Voldemort, Dumbledore noting Harry’s strength of will at resisting the temptation to act like Voldemort even when granted a direct insight into Voldemort’s mind and methods.
Although never as given to sarcasm or humour as his best friend Ron, Harry often displayed a dry, occasionally sarcastic, wit. – Harry Potter wikia
Prince Po Greening
Fandom: Graceling
He is initially believed to be Graced (gifted) with hand fighting, but it is revealed that his true Grace is perception. He is able to sense the world around him and the thoughts of others, but only when they are directed at him. These senses come to him automatically and he has no control whatsoever with his ability. Po was forced to hide his Grace’s true nature at an early age by his mother for fear that others would be tempted to use him for their own gain.
Po’s Grace enables him to resist Leck’s persuasion, making him the only person who is fully immune to Leck’s Grace (other than Lady Fire in the prequel Fire).
He is naturally an easy-going character, laughing and smiling even in some dire circumstances. He is thoughtful of others and compassionate. He’s also an impressive fighter and is a strong leader. – Graceling wikia

Percy Jackson (7) vs. Hana Tate (58)
Percy Jackson
Fandom: Percy Jackson
Percy is a brave, spirited natural leader, and is willing to risk his life to save friends, family, strangers, and sometimes even enemies. He has a sarcastic and smart sense of humor, a laid-back demeanor, and has earned the respect of all the Olympians, including Artemis (who strictly dislikes men), Dionysus (who hates most heroes because of what happened with Ariadne), and Hades (who generally hates people). He also earned the trust and respect of the Romans of Camp Jupiter (who don’t usually trust Greeks). Percy remains true and never goes back on his word. However, he is definitely not perfect. Percy is somewhat short-tempered, and thus has trouble controlling his anger (such as when he sees bullying) and tends to do or blurt out things before thinking, no matter the consequences, causing him to get into a lot of trouble. He also feels responsible for everyone and anything which goes wrong.
Annabeth Chase mentions that he is technically smart but seems to act dumb; and is obtuse, meaning he doesn’t always see the obvious even when it is right in front of him, such as people’s feelings and what they are trying to see indirectly. Despite this he is perceptive when he wants to (or needs to) be; he could tell that Gaea wanted to keep him alive and gambled his life knowing that he was too valuable to Gaea for him to die at that time. Percy can also be derisively sarcastic and moody, and he dislikes being manipulated or forced to obey.
Percy’s fatal flaw is excessive personal loyalty: he would risk the world and even his own life to save a loved one or even a stranger according to Athena. – Camp Half Blood wikia
Hana Tate
Fandom: Delirium
Hana is a difficult character to love, she is often selfish and will do as she pleases, however in her own warped way she really does love and care for Lena. Her act of betrayal at giving Lena away to the society guards, was in her own way an attempt to protect Lena from herself, and the hurt that she believed would inevitably follow if she went through with the escape. Hana is the character I think most teenage girls could relate to, they want to go out and rebel, party, but really care for their friends, and in the end will do what is right, or they feel is right. As I can relate to her in many ways, is the reason to like her.

Annabeth Chase (8) vs. Xander Carrow (57)
Annabeth Chase
Fandom: Percy Jackson
Annabeth loves architecture, and spends her free time designing new buildings and visiting national monuments. Her fatal flaw is hubris, otherwise known as excessive pride: she thinks she can do anything and do it well, even better than the gods.
Annabeth can be very caring but possessive of the people she loves. Annabeth is very harsh and judgmental during first meetings, but after winning her approval she is very loyal. She is very strong-minded and equally stubborn, she is also incredibly brave and daring. Annabeth shows many signs of dauntlessness, courage and determination. She has a lot of nerve. Annabeth is also an intellectual genius, as well as clever and witty. She’s also analytical, strategic, and is very wise.
Annabeth’s fatal flaw is hubris (deadly pride or arrogance.) Annabeth believes that she is able to do anything: get her parents back together, build great monuments, and save Luke as shown in The Sea of Monsters. She sometimes even thinks she could rebuild the world, even better than how the gods did it. – Camp Half Blood wikia
Xander Carrow
Fandom: Matched
Xander got cheated by Cassia, and he still helps her! Everyone would wish for a friend like that. Xander is brave and is very tough. He is willing to do things that will bring happiness to Cassia even though it is not a benefit for himself. He’s very talented, getting a final work position in the Central. He is full of depth, but does not reveal everything. His heart is full of love and is an amazing guy.
