‘The Fault in Our Stars’ Movie is Looking for a Director

Producer Wyck Godfrey

At the Breaking Dawn Part 2 premiere, Kimmy from Page to Premiere got to speak a little with producer Wyck Godfrey about The Fault in Our Stars movie.  I am a huge fan of the book as well, so any information about the movie is always exciting news, and it looks like the script is ready, but now it’s time to look for a director for the film.

In our interview he revealed that he’s currently looking for a director, and that “it will be best movie to come out next year.” He also says that the writers of (500) Days of Summer have written a beautiful script that is “as good if not better” than the book, and that he’s “more excited about this than anything [he’s] doing.” I don’t think it’s possible for the script to be better than the book, but it gives me high hopes! I am so incredibly excited to see the film! I’ll definitely be sobbing throughout the entire movie. Don’t you love the way his eyes lit up when I mentioned the movie? I’m so glad the film is being made by people that are as passionate about it as I am! (P.S. Sorry about my giddiness! I was just so excited to be talking about it with him.)

So, now that they’re in search of a director, who do you think would be a good one to have for this project that’s so near and dear to many people’s hearts?
