And this update may or may not be what fans were hoping to hear.

The live-action The Flash movie has certainly been through the wringer over the last couple of years. From losing multiple directors and being repeatedly delayed, it sadly seems that this film is just simply not a priority for DC and Warner Bros. Because get this, stars of the film aren’t even certain when production is starting.

“No idea, we don’t know yet,” Clemons said. “I mean, we have a little bit of an idea kind of who our director is, but I can’t say that. But I talk with Ezra [Miller] frequently and we’ll see.”

However, recent reports have suggested that Warner Bros. goal is to have The Flash production completed by the end of 2019. So who knows, maybe cameras will start rolling early next year and we’ll finally get some clarity on a film that seems to be on the back burner for now.
