THE HUNGER GAMES Coming To The Stage in 2016

Imagine Nation, the stage company co-founded by award-winning Broadway producer Robin de Levita, is teaming up with Lionsgate to bring THE HUNGER GAMES to the stage!

The stage play will open near Wembley Stadium in London in the summer of 2016. It will take place in a new theater built specifically for the needs of the production, which promises “innovative and immersive staging techniques”.

de Levita’s other major productions include SOLDIER OF ORANGE, a Dutch musical, and ANNE, the first play based on THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK authorized within the last 55 years. Both plays have gained a fervent following and earned de Levita an esteemed position in the worldwide theatrical community.

Here’s what de Levita had to say about the opportunity in a recent press release:

“I’m thrilled to be partnering with an innovative next generation studio like Lionsgate on a property that resonates so deeply with global audiences. The theater is a fantastic medium to bring the many meaningful layers of Suzanne Collins’ writing to life.”
