A new MOCKINGJAY PART 2 in-world propo and poster reveal Katniss Everdeen’s red Mockingjay suit!
A couple weeks ago at Cine Europe, studios were treated to a new teaser for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 that featured Katniss Everdeen in a totally new red Mockingjay suit. Now we can all check out the suit for ourselves!
Lionsgate posted a new District 13 propo via their Snapchat account, MockingjayPt2.
The video shows Katniss Everdeen decked out in the rumored red Mockingjay suit, her cape billowing in the wind. The image pans out to reveal that she is standing on a giant sculpture of a hand raised in the three-fingered salute. Meanwhile, a voiceover tells audiences all about the hope and inspiration Katniss brings to Panem, hoping that the people will rally behind her.
Hopefully, most viewers will recognize this as an in-world propo similar to the “Fight For Justice” propo scrapped in Mockingjay Part 1, which explains why the special effects aren’t exactly high quality.
