Today The Hunger Games reached a milestone at the box office, passing the $400 million dollar mark in North America! The film has grossed $648 million worldwide and came in 12th place at this weekend’s box office, not bad for it’s twelfth weekend!

The Hunger Games eased 33 percent to $1.05 million this weekend. On Sunday, its 80th day in theaters, the movie is expected to pass $400 million, making it the 14th title to ever reach that milestone.
