THE KISSING BOOTH Sequel Headed To Netflix

Netflix celebrated Valentine’s Day by announcing big plans for one of its most popular romances of 2018.

The Kissing Booth, based on the YA novel by Wattpad-writer-turned-published-author Beth Reekles, made a major splash on the streaming service when released last May. While not the most unproblematic of teen love stories, it was among the top three most re-watched movies for the year. Thanks to that, a sequel is now in the works!

Stars Joey King (Elle) and Joel Courtney (Lee) announced the new movie in an amusing video in which they “build” a new kissing booth.

According to Variety, the original cast is expected back, including Jacob Elordi as Noah.

With no official sequel novel, it’s hard to guess exactly where the second movie will take us, but we expect plenty of hi-jinks along the way.
