On top of regular and IMAX releases, THE MAZE RUNNER will be one of the first movies released with tri-screen “Barco Escape” style footage!
There will be roughly five minutes of Barco Escape footage, which uses three screens to encompass the audience a little closer on either side of the action, at select Cinemark locations.
“Barco Escape and its partners are experimenting with this new format to see how you– the viewer– like the new experience,”
the company states on its website.
Wes Ball’s animated short RUIN was also released in this format.
