There’s tension within peace in THE WALKING DEAD’s latest preview!

The communities of The Walking Dead seem to have finally come to terms with each other in the latest look at Season 9, but not everyone is happy about it.

In the trailer, Rick and Michonne talk about the progress they’ve made in the several months since Rick defeated Negan. It plays up against footage of the communities seemingly working together, but it’s not all happy days.

For one, Daryl and Rick are certainly at odds, seemingly because of Rick’s decision to keep Negan alive and help his leftover followers who are still living in The Sanctuary. It looks like this hints at Daryl stepping up to lead as Rick’s final episodes unwind. We’re also seeing what might be the first hints of Whisperers in our midst!
