Maggie gives a fierce speech in the new trailer for THE WALKING DEAD Season 8!

The Walking Dead Season 8 just released a short new trailer that promises tension and glory to come.

The trailer, featured above, starts off with narration from mainstay group leader Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln), showing off the weary faces of the characters as he speaks. But soon, the voiceover is taken over by Maggie Rhee (Lauren Cohan), who is quickly establishing herself as a leader at Hilltop. She’s giving a pretty passionate speech about the communities staying unified against The Saviors right as the footage begins to focus on the dangers they face.

The Walking Dead returns to AMC for Season 8 on October 23, 2017. The season will feature the “All Out War” against Negan from the comics, with the premiere standing as the show’s 100th episode.
