Characters are laying down their arms in THE WALKING DEAD’s trippy new trailer!

No, you’re not hallucinating– the latest trailer for The Walking Dead Season 9 is just having some fun with the visuals!

There isn’t much said in the trippy new look at Season 9, but almost every major player makes an appearance in the “Kaleidoscope” sneak peek, including a reformed Jadis alongside Siddiq and Alden, the reformed Savior. Almost every character is putting away or dropping some sort of weapon, which might be an indicator of the atmosphere in the beginning of the season when, once again, everyone is feeling a bit more trusting.

At the end of it all, the main focus is still on five characters– Rick, Darryl, Maggie, Michonne, and Carol.
