Three teen actors are poised to enter the final round of auditions for the role of Evan Walker in THE 5TH WAVE this weekend, according to Variety.
Actors Tye Sheridan (MUD, JOE), Nick Robinson (THE KINGS OF SUMMER, JURASSIC WORLD), and Mitchell Hope (Disney’s upcoming THE DESCENDANTS) will screen test with Chloe Grace Moretz. The publication states that more actors may be considered, but only if necessary. Assuming the chemistry is there, one of these three could very well be our Evan!
Chloe Grace Moretz will play Cassie Sullivan, the young heroine who will do anything to get her brother back during the fifth wave of a brutal alien invasion on Earth. Evan, the role in question, is the mysterious stranger who may be Cassie’s only hope. Chloe’s casting was announced last month.
