J.K Rowling has written three short stories about the Harry Potter Wizarding World, which will be released this fall.
The Harry Potter fandom has recently been buzzing with excitement, despite the fact that the last book was published almost ten years ago. The eighth part of the story, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, is currently lighting up the stages of London. Along with that, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will hit theaters in November. The movie portrays the story of American wizard Newt Scamander, and is set 70 years before the Harry Potter story.
There’s still more news! Pottermore has announced that a new series of short stories written by J.K. Rowling will be released in September. These eBooks, which also include bits from the Pottermore archives, will explore parts of the wizarding world that have not been explicitly explained to fans before.
Short Stories from Hogwarts of Power, Political and Pesky Poltergeists gives readers a look into the darker parts of the wizarding world. The history of the Azkaban prison is explained, along with a background on Dolores Umbridge. The relationship between Horace Slughorn and the young Lord Voldemort is also explored.
Hogwarts: An Incomplete and Unreliable Guide dives into the secrets of Hogwarts that we’ve all been dying to know. The ebook includes a history of the wizarding school and more information on the ghosts residing there. The short story also gives some extra insight on what happens when the Sorting Hat is unable to make up its mind.
