The Song girls are coming to Netflix this summer. Find out when!

Last month, Netflix announced that the movie adaptation of Jenny Han‘s To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before will be distributed exclusively on its streaming platform around the world. Now, author Jenny Han is sharing even more good news: There’s an official release date!

The film follows Laura Jean Song (Lana Condor,) a high school junior who’s going through a bit of crisis. See, Laura Jean has therapeutically written letters to all her former crushes to help herself get over them. But one day, the letters are accidentally mailed out, forcing her to own up to and face off with her ex-crushes, including her close friend Josh (Israel Broussard,) who also happens to be her sister’s boyfriend. In order to salvage her relationship with Josh, Laura Jean makes an awkward arrangement with another letter recipient, Peter (Noah Centineo.)

To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before will drop Friday, August 17, 2018, according to a tweet from Han, which also includes a new still of Lara Jean being trendy and adorable.

Netflix has not released a movie trailer quite yet, but at least we know when to gather our cookie recipes and at-home spa treatments for a viewing party!
