Tom Felton teams up with BBC for fandom documentary
Guess what? The former Malfoy, Tom Felton, is working with BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) to channel their nerdy passion into a full-on fandom documentary about Harry Potter and other related fan culture.
This one-hour documentary, which will air on BBC during April, includes featured interviews from his fellow mates: Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter), Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley), and J.K. Rowling, as well as countless fans, collectors and cosplayers. Narrated by Felton, this project is said to be “a road trip journey”, as it will describe “the world of super fans and people who have followed franchises”.
As we all know, Tom Felton still interacts with the Harry Potter fandom, such as going on Pottermore. Not only that, but we can also see that he is just another “superfan”, just like us fangirls and fanboys out there.
Today was the day. I finally did it. I joined Pottermore and was sorted into……..Gryffindor. Heart broken x #slytherinforlife

Felton seems pretty excited about this entire project, as he states, “It was a massive insight for me, going behind the ropes and seeing what people actually do to stand behind a railing at an event. You don’t really think about the three hours it took them to stand there and get the best spot.”
By right now, I hope that Tom Felton’s father heard about this fandom documentary. Just saying; pun intended.
