Is Ty and Kit’s friendship going sour in this LORD OF SHADOWS peek?
Cassandra Clare has recruited talented fandom-loving artist Cassandra Jean to help give fans their new look at Lord of Shadows, the second book in The Dark Artifices series that started with the bestselling Lady Midnight.
In the comic-style snippet, we see a brief but tense exchange between Ty Blackthorn and the newly unveiled Shadowhunter from the long-lost Herondale line, Kit. Fans are already shipping these two, but in this moment, they don’t even seem to be getting along very well!
Don’t worry. We’re sure it’s all a misunderstanding, right? …Right?!
The illustrated quote comes to Cassandra Clare’s tumblr just a couple weeks after the last sneak peek, which featured a very powerful Julian/Emma quote:
“You’re going to have to learn to live with it,” Jules said. “Even if it horrifies you, Emma. Even if it makes you sick. Just like I’m going to have to live with whatever other boyfriends you have, because we are forever no matter how, Emma, no matter what you want to call what we have, we will always be us.”
Lords of Shadows doesn’t have an exact release date quite yet, but is expected out in Spring 2017.
