THE UMBRELLA ACADEMY has a release date for Season 2

Those odd but weirdly lovable group of kids from THE UMBRELLA ACADEMY will be returning very soon to grace our screens, and the cast wants to prove it to you.

If you missed this crazy show on Netflix, well, there’s time for you to catch up before season 2 hits in July. The show is about a group of kids with special abilities who were raised to be superheroes by an unsympathetic father (of no relation to any of them), his intellectual simian, and an android mother (again, no relation) at what was established to be The Umbrella Academy.

Now the kids are adults, and no longer a superhero group, but with more problems than ever before, including trying to prevent a world-ending disaster, caused by one of their own.

The announcement of the release date for season 2 was just released, and though it doesn’t give us any teasers about what’s to come, we do get a reenactment of that one dance/musical scene from the first season, which shows the return of all of the seven actors who played the pseudo-siblings: Tom Hopper (Luther), Emmy Raver-Lampman (Allison), Robert Sheehan (Klaus), Ellen Page (Vanya), David CastaƱeda (Diego), Justin H. Min (Ben), and Aidan Gallagher (Number Five).

According to Tor, the first episode of season two will be titled “Right Back Where We Started,” and it will have ten episodes, just like the first season.

Set your calendar for another binge-worthy season of The Umbrella Academy on July 31st.
