VAMPIRE ACADEMY Filmmakers Launch Crowdfunding Campaign for FROSTBITE

VAMPIRE ACADEMY has a loyal, enthusiastic fanbase worldwide. Despite all this, the film version didn’t do as well it the box office as the studio had hoped. Because of this, the filmmakers have been asked to prove there is a significant fan investment in VAMPIRE ACADEMY’s sequel, FROSTBITE, before it can be made.

FROSTBITE producers Mike Preger, Deepak Nayar, and Jill DeFrehn have started a crowdfunding campaign via IndieGoGo so fans can help make the project a reality! Check out their pitch video for the campaign featuring stars Lucy Fry, Danila Kozlovsky, Dominic Sherwood, and Sami Gayle, along with the producers, asking for your support:

As with all crowdfunding campaigns, “perks” will be given to all who donated– from smaller things early casting scoops and movie update, to posters, t-shirts, and signed scripts, all the way to set visits and a short speaking role!

To whet your appetite even more, check out early release peek at the script that gives us Adrian’s first appearance from the movie’s Instagram!

The crowdfunding campaign hopes to raise $1.5 million by September 4th, about 1/4 of what the VAMPIRE ACADEMY movie made during its opening weekend. The filmmakers are encouraging fans to spread the word with the hashtag #SupportFrostbiteOnIndieGoGo!
