VAMPIRE ACADEMY Series Footage Shown in Peacock’s 2022 Teaser

Vampire Academy fans have a chance to recharge their love for the book series now with the launch of the TV series that will be debuting on Peacock this year. Let’s face it, when it comes down to it, for longevity purposes, the small screen can do so much for book adaptations than big budget movies. Of course, when done with the right group of people.

When The Vampire Diaries’ Julie Plec was announced as one of the showrunners, it definitely was the start of the “right group.” And now we have the first footage of what’s to come for Peacock’s Vampire Academy, and we have a list of who’s who in the show.

The footage comes in at the :39 mark of the “What’s Coming to Peacock in 2022?”

And you can check out the list of actors as well as who they’ll be playing on the show:

Sisi Stringer (@sisistringer) will be playing the Dhampir hothead Rose Hathaway, and she looks fierce with a capital F! If you want to see her fight, check her out in 2021’s Mortal Kombat movie.

Daniela Nieves (@danielanieves) will be playing the all-too-sweet royal Moroi vampire, and Rose’s best friend, Lissa Dragomir. Daniela recently starred in the Snap original series Save Me and the Facebook Watch original Five Points.

Kieron Moore (@kieronmoore) will be playing the by-the-book stoic Dhampir guardian and quite appealing Dimitri Belikov. Kieron is also working in a mini series called Masters of the Air and can be seen in a couple of episodes of Netflix’s Sex Education.

André Dae Kim (@andrekim7) will be playing the anti-social royal Moroi Christian Ozera. His extensive filmography includes stints in several Degrassi variations. You can also see his most recent work in Netflix’s Locke & Key.

J. August Richards (@jaugustrichards) will play Victor Dashkov, an honorable and well-respected Moroi noble and advisor.

Mia McKenna Bruce (@mia_mbruce) will play the ambitious non-royal fellow student Mia Karp.

Andrew Liner (@drew.liner) will play Guardian-in-training Mason Ashford, Rose’s main competitor for the number one spot, who also happens to have an attraction to the hothead.

Jonetta Kaiser (@jonettakaiser) will play Sonya Karp, a vampire with a rare type of power.

Anita-Joy Uwajeh will play Tatiana Vogel, a Moroi vampire with big political aspirations, and a character created for the series.

Rhian Blundell (@rhianblundell) will play Meredith, another guardian-in-training.
