Video Review: CHILDREN OF BLOOD AND BONE by Tomi Adeyemi

Back in November, I was lucky enough to get my hands on an ARC of Children of Blood and Bone, by Tomi Adeyemi. This was a highly anticipated debut fantasy that follows people blessed by the Nigerian gods. In the story, Zelie is still mourning the loss of her mother over a decade before, killed along with all others with magic after their magic disappeared. With the help her her brother, as well as the scorned princess, Armani, Zelie might have an opportunity to return magic to her people. This is a fantasy adventure, with themes related to Black Lives Matter, and it is a masterpiece.

Watch below to get my overall thoughts and opinions about this book.

Note: As always, the beginning of the video is spoiler-free. I give a spoiler warning before I get into spoilers from the book.
