Emma Mills’ newest young adult novel, Foolish Hearts, was released on December 5. The story follows Claudia as she overhears the dramatic breakup of the “it” couple at her all-girls school and is rewarded with threats if she tells anyone about it. Back at school, she is partnered with Iris, the one who threatened her. After a disaster of a paper, the two must audition for A Midsummer Night’s Dream at the school next door in order to gain extra credit. There, the frenemies may grow closer and Claudia may just find someone else worthy of her time… and constant thoughts… if he could just stop flirting with every girl he encounters. Foolish Hearts is a story of building friendship and finding romance.
