Video Review: TURTLES ALL THE WAY DOWN by John Green

If you’re anything like me, Turtles All the Way Down moved to the top of your TBR pile the moment you heard John Green was publishing a new book. Well, it’s finally here and very close to Green’s heart. The story follows Aza, a sixteen-year-old girl who suffers from severe OCD. When her best friend, Daisy, tells her that Aza’s old friend’s father is on the run and there’s a reward for information leading to his capture, Aza takes the opportunity to reconnect with her old friend, forming a very different relationship than they had growing up. While Davis doesn’t know who to trust, he lets Aza in, as she continues to struggle with her own demons. This story was terrifyingly real and relatable, as well as an important view of mental illness.
