About the series:
Based on the best-selling book series, The Mortal Instruments, the story follows Clary, a fiery young artist who finds herself in the middle of some serious supernatural drama upon discovering she comes from a line of Shadowhunters – part-human, part-angel warriors dedicated to hunting down demons. After her mother is kidnapped, Clary explores this new world filled with warlocks, fairies, werewolves, and vampires where she begins to unravel the secrets of her past. And, of course, she has a little help from her nerdy BFF Simon and a handsome and mysterious Shadowhunter named Jace. – EW.com
