Watch THE WALKING DEAD Season 6 DVD featurette of extra gross walkers

The especially gnarly walkers are the highlight in this featurette from The Walking Dead season 6 DVD.

The special effects makeup group, lead by executive producer and special effects makeup artist Greg Nicotero, have taken strides to create the more realistic makeup for the walkers that appear on The Walking Dead. But The Walking Dead season 6 took on a whole other level when it came to making the the most grotesque walkers seen on the show.

In the featurette, “The Face of Death: Iconic Walkers,” they delve into some of the most memorable walkers from this past season, including ‘Tight Squeeze Walker’ and the ‘Sewer Walkers.’

The Walking Dead: The Complete Sixth Season will be available on Blu-Ray, DVD, and Digital HG on August 23rd. This featurette will be included, along with a handful of other extras.
