Baby Groot welcomes us to the frickin’ GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY in this wonderfully chipper extended Super Bowl spot.
We were already in love with Groot before, and we’re more in love with Baby Groot in Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2. So, obviously, this extended big game spot that aired during the Super Bowl was just more cherries on top. Not only do we get to see the introduction of many of the characters from the first movie, but we also another “I am Groot.”
Gotta say that setting this spot to the music of Fleetwood Mac’s “The Chain” is showing us that the soundtrack is still very much going to be a big part of the movie’s success. We already love that Sweet’s “Fox on the Run” was used for the first trailer, and we can’t wait to hear more!
